| Entry qualification | Secondary education - General secondary high school diploma. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / German / Russian / Latvian. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. Please provide the secondary school leaving certificate in the original language. Legalisation is a Certification of Document Authenticity: certification of document authenticity (legalisation) means verification of signature and seal of a document. Traditionally it is performed by a Consular Officer so that documents drawn up in one country would be legally valid in another one. If a document is issued in a foreign country which has concluded bilateral agreement with Latvia (Belarus, Kirghizstan, Russia, Moldova, Ukraine, Uzbekistan) – these countries don’t need legalisation of documents, it enough if they have Official State Seal. You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university. |

Overview
The aim of the professional bachelor’s study programme is to provide students with a broad and comprehensive practice-based theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of business and finance, as well as to provide in-depth foreign language learning opportunities in order to meet specific professional standards (financier – PS 117 and economist – PS-113) and the knowledge basis and professional competence corresponding to professional higher education of the second level.
